While Virginia is in a Budget Crisis, there is still $1 Million to Ferry People to Obama's Inauguration

If there's a will, there's a way! While Virginia is the worst budget crisis in state history, there is somehow enough money to ferry people to celebrate Barack Obama's inauguration. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Virginia is spending $1 Million dollars to ferry people into the nation's capital to celebrate a page in America's history. Meanwhile, Virginia is experiencing high unemployment rates, transportation problems, and the possibility of tax increases.

So, why is the state shelling out $1 million dollars to ferry people to Obama's Inauguration? Why don't we ask Tim Kaine? I am certain that Kaine just wanted to help his friend break the record for the most to attend his swearing-in as Commander-in-Chief.

This still doesn't explain why we are spending $1 million dollars that we don't have in the budget. It's wasteful at its best.
