In todays Washington Times, Seth McLaughlin had an interesting article about how the General Assembly is no longer House Republicans vs. Senate Republicans. This truth has come to light with the recent budget disputes Senate Republicans are having with Senate Democrats. This all started because of what Senator Wampler referred to as Governor Kaine's "financially unsound" budget.
The House Republicans are proud to have such tight allies on the Senate side this year. In the Washington Times article Delegate Hamilton said, "I think there is a better sense of dialogue between House Republicans and Senate Republicans. There are much more open lines of communication and more alignment philosophically."
